              The Business of the Year award recognizes a local business that contributes to the economic growth and quality of life in Jarrell. The business is deemed to have made a positive impact on the local economy through job growth/creation, increased sales tax revenue, community involvement, exceptional customer service, and other areas.

              The Best Place to Work award recognizes a company that exemplifies excellence in the categories of: • Company culture • Employee wellness • Work-life balance • Environmental and social responsibility
               
               
               
               
               
              Newcomer of the Year
              The Newcomer of the Year is a company or individual that is new to the Jarrell community in 2023 who has quickly engaged our community and is a model organization for demonstrating a positive impact in Jarrell.
               
               
               
               
               
              Civil Servant of the Year
              The Civil Servant of the Year award honors the one that has most exemplified the qualities of leadership, character, family life and community service, and whose civic contributions have resulted in recent or current positive impact to Jarrell.
